v1.2.21

Fantasy Grounds

  • Use physical dice with supported Fantasy Grounds sheet rolls and native results.
  • Roll, check the faces in RollSight and send. Complete larger requests over several fresh throws; the pending values and progress card show what is still needed.
  • Correcting an accepted die while a request is pending updates its waiting value. After resolution, corrections add a report without undoing or repeating game effects. Reports with private or unverified visibility remain local to that Fantasy Grounds instance.
  • After an uncertain send, check chat and pending values before reconnecting. A live pending request can survive reconnecting; reloading or ending the campaign does not preserve it. Cancel an unfinished request before starting another, and use fresh dice for the next roll.
  • Replay uploads require an accepted source with verified public visibility, an eligible plan, session opt-in and available storage. Private or unverified visibility blocks upload.

Desktop app

  • Tray readings stay confirmed when the tray is cleared, and sent rolls keep all accepted dice in their history.
  • Reduced camera-frame backlog helps keep the window responsive under load.
  • Automatic low-light adjustment gently brightens dim dice and stays steady during each roll.
  • Roll20 pairing now uses a visible short code with a Copy button.

Desktop app

  • Connect RollSight directly to Owlbear Rodeo with a short, reusable player code.
  • Request dice with a click, complete rolls over several throws, and use percentile dice, digital alternatives and linked correction reports.
  • Use supported Forge sheet actions with physical dice and optionally share result summaries in Rumble chat.
  • See public results in shared Owlbear popups, open collapsed replays in RollSight, and share session RollStats with an eligible plan.
  • Choose whether your uploaded replays may appear on the RollSight website from your account settings.

Desktop app

  • Startup no longer mistakes a Bluetooth serial port for a USB dice display.
  • Updates download in the background and install when you next open RollSight, with more reliable Windows replacement and restart.
  • The automatic-update switch is now under Settings, Advanced; automatic updates remain on by default.
  • Play-session reports include pauses between rolls and record session closure when you end a connection or close RollSight.
  • Train one die can save another view of the same face before moving to the next value.

  • When you add a die to a settled tray, RollSight can send the new die without resending dice already delivered.
  • Drag from outside a visible die box to add a missed die; clicking inside a box still opens correction for that die.
  • Tray reading does less repeated work while keeping your saved local dice references available.
  • The camera gets more time to update during large training saves and reference reloads, reducing pauses after training.
  • Compact mode keeps the window near its current position when you switch layouts.

  • Guided die training confirms the requested face even when the first reading disagrees.
  • Preserved training photos from earlier sessions can be reused when rebuilding local dice references.
  • Connection setup separates saved destinations, supports named local connections, and lets you undo a saved connection deletion.
  • Optional manual review holds rolls for your check before delivery and brings waiting rolls forward when ready.
  • The review option and Send button follow tabletop and Discord connection status: they hide on disconnect and return on reconnect.
  • Dice setup stays dismissed after you close it, while compact training screens fit smaller displays.
  • Roll history and local reference processing do less work on the main interface to reduce pauses during play.

  • Library preparation shows progress and retry options, while unchanged syncs avoid unnecessary reloads.
  • Dice that leave the tray no longer leave stale camera boxes behind; dice reading also benefits from processing improvements.
  • An optional alert brings RollSight forward when a die needs review.
  • OBS replay setup is available from Settings. Legacy live-camera streaming controls have been removed.
  • After updating, RollSight can show the highlights for the installed version.

Desktop app

  • A confirmed correction can help RollSight recognize a later view of the same die in that profile when the match is strong.
  • Choose Foundry, Roll20, Discord, or local play from visual destination tiles. Discord channel setup starts from Connect Dice.
  • Overlapping rolls and temporary upload problems are less likely to interrupt replay delivery.
  • Saved activation survives switching between Apple silicon and Intel versions on Mac, including during temporary connection errors.

Roll20 browser add-on

  • The Roll20 panel makes physical rolls easier with dice buttons, Advantage/Disadvantage, percentile-pair d100 rolls, and replay links.
  • For supported D&D 2024 Public + Query requests, send physical results for skill checks, attacks, damage, saves, initiative, and ordinary spell-slot use.

Desktop app

  • Standard dotted dice use an improved shared reader. Numbered dice keep their existing recognition path.
  • Confirmed corrections and saved training photos can help RollSight learn your dice in the background once there is enough independent evidence. A single correction does not retrain the model.
  • A clearer Library preparation screen shows first-time setup and retry progress.
  • Free accounts, including older trial accounts, no longer lose access because of an old expiration date.

  • Settings now opens during Library updates. If saving must wait, your edits stay open.
  • Dice-set management and training are grouped under Training. Help now links to the feedback and support form.

  • Replays capture more dice motion, load faster, and include labeled close-ups with more time to read the results.
  • Choose Foundry, Discord, or local play in Start Session, with one remembered replay preference. Saved activation is better protected against temporary connection failures.
  • Set up your camera and tray in two steps. Cameras appear by name on Mac and Windows, and RollSight remembers your selection. Cancel keeps your previous setup.
  • Dice-set setup and display preferences are easier to find in Settings. First-time setup is clearer, and old die boxes clear more reliably between rolls.
