Owlbear Rodeo Integration Guide

Webhook Integration

Rollsight integrates with Owlbear Rodeo through webhook integration, allowing seamless dice roll transmission to your virtual tabletop sessions.

Prerequisites

  • Owlbear Rodeo account and active room
  • Rollsight software installed and running
  • Webhook URL from Owlbear Rodeo (if available)

Step 1: Configure Rollsight

  1. Launch Rollsight software
  2. Go to Settings → VTT Integration
  3. Select Owlbear Rodeo as your integration
  4. Enter Owlbear Rodeo webhook URL (if provided)
  5. Or use API endpoint if available
  6. Click Connect

Step 2: Set Up Webhook (If Required)

If Owlbear Rodeo requires webhook configuration:

  1. In Owlbear Rodeo, go to room settings
  2. Find webhook or integration settings
  3. Enter Rollsight's webhook endpoint URL
  4. Save settings

Step 3: Test Integration

  1. Open your Owlbear Rodeo room
  2. Place a die in your Rollsight dice tray
  3. Roll the die in Rollsight
  4. Check Owlbear Rodeo - roll should appear automatically
Success: When rolls appear in Owlbear Rodeo automatically, integration is working!

Troubleshooting

Rolls not appearing

  • Verify webhook URL is correct
  • Check Rollsight connection status
  • Ensure Owlbear Rodeo room is active
  • Check browser console for errors
